SEO Specialist – Modern AI-Driven Search

About the role

We are seeking a forward-thinking SEO Specialist to lead modern, AI-driven search campaigns for our clients and the TechWyse brand. Based in our Toronto office, you will design and implement strategies that go beyond traditional backlink building to create authoritative, answer-engine-ready digital properties.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies focused on generative AI search, entity optimization and topic-cluster content frameworks.
• Perform technical SEO audits covering Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, structured data and site architecture.
• Conduct keyword research, search-intent analysis, competitor benchmarking and opportunity forecasting.
• Collaborate with Content, Web and Client Success teams to ensure accurate implementation of SEO recommendations.
• Monitor performance using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and translate insights into business recommendations.
• Support full-funnel SEO initiatives across TOFU, MOFU and BOFU content to drive rankings, traffic quality and lead generation.
• Contribute to SOP development, workflow improvements and quality-assurance processes within the SEO department.
• Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates, AI search developments and evolving SEO best practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency setting serving North American SMB clients.
• Strong understanding of on-page, technical, local and off-page SEO as well as content optimization.
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
