Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack (Java, Spring Boot)

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at RESL, you will own features end‑to‑end, deeply understand the application, and act as a technical anchor for both development and production support within a purpose‑driven, inclusive team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement features from Jira stories independently.
• Own backend and frontend code changes for assigned product areas.
• Build and integrate internal/external services using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Write and maintain robust unit and integration tests.
• Produce clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and support production issues.
• Guide and mentor developers on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security and banking standards.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools in line with bank policies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the RESL codebase.
• Ability to make sound implementation decisions within existing architecture.
• Comfort handling ambiguous requirements and clarifying technical details early.
• Trusted contributor during production incidents and releases.
• Excellent debugging skills with 5+ years of Java experience.
