Senior Software Developer – HD

About the role

As we scale up, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer to help us build the software that is changing the face of the feed industry. This is a new vacancy due to growing business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and use data to understand key performance characteristics of our sensors.
• Report on progress and communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Propose solutions to current, often ambiguous challenges, both technical and organizational.
• Identify and deliver outcomes quickly and iteratively.

Required profile

• Problem solver, proactive, go‑getter and professional team player.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize tasks, set realistic estimations, and manage time effectively.
• A fast learner, willing to pivot when new information comes to light.

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated computer vision and machine‑learning architecture/problem‑solving ability.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Node.js).
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, Serverless) – a plus.
• 3D image‑capturing experience, particularly around accuracy – an asset.
