Senior Project Manager

About the role

Blackstraw.ai is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑focused technology initiatives. The role combines strong project governance with Agile/Scrum facilitation to ensure predictable, high‑quality outcomes for global enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives while removing impediments.
• Define project scope, milestones, schedules, risks, and resource plans; maintain documentation according to PLC standards.
• Communicate regularly with business owners, product owners, and engineering teams to align goals and timelines.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coach teams in Agile principles, servant leadership, and continuous improvement.
• Track sprint progress, project KPIs, and deliverables; provide status reports to leadership.
• Implement best practices for Agile, QA, and project governance to drive operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience in project management, including Scrum Master responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict‑resolution, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PMP, CSM, PMI‑ACP, SAFe or CAPM certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and project lifecycle methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and MS Project.
