About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead global initiatives within Global Business Services (GBS) Project Services. You will guide cross‑functional projects from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivering measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate global projects of varying size and risk across AI, data analytics, operations, and finance.
• Develop and implement project strategies, ensuring teams stay focused on successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal customers and senior leadership to shape GBS strategic direction through 2030 and beyond.
• Drive innovation and re‑imagine professional services in a start‑up‑like environment.
• Mentor project teams and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading change and managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
