Senior Project Coordinator

About the role

Prodigy is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support commercial and institutional construction projects at its Ottawa site. The role involves organizing, coordinating and supporting project activities while balancing cost, schedule, quality, safety and documentation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders for issuance.
• Manage RFIs and change order processes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Take and distribute meeting minutes.
• Maintain project documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Support project start‑up and close‑out documentation.
• Monitor project activities to ensure alignment with scope, budget, schedule, procedures and standards.
• Communicate professionally with consultants, vendors, trades, clients and design professionals.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide timely follow‑up.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, pricing and sourcing of project materials.
• Support project risk management and site quality control.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture reflecting Prodigy’s values.
