Senior Procurement Specialist – Operations

About the role

Woodfibre Management Ltd. is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support operational readiness for the Woodfibre LNG Project. Based in Vancouver with regular travel to Squamish, you will manage end‑to‑end procurement and contracting for plant operations, maintenance, and reliability programs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day procurement and contract activities for goods, services, logistics, OEM support, maintenance, turnarounds and facility‑related contracts.
• Lead RFx processes, develop RFP packages, conduct pre‑bid meetings, evaluate bids and obtain approvals.
• Analyze supplier suitability against vendor qualification criteria and maintain supplier records by commodity.
• Monitor procurement and contract status, report progress, and support contract administration plans.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Procurement on SAP implementation and Procure‑to‑Pay documentation.
• Engage external stakeholders, including local and Indigenous suppliers, to optimise performance and strengthen relationships.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in procurement and contract management within industrial or energy environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex sourcing projects and supplier performance.
• Strong analytical skills for bid evaluation, cost analysis and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.

Required skills

• SAP procurement modules expertise.
