Senior Physics Consultant (Remote, Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Physics Consultant to provide authoritative scientific judgments on advanced physics problems that arise during AI model training. This remote, part‑time contract position supports a global team in improving the quality and consistency of training datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the recognized adjudicator for complex physics issues, delivering definitive scientific judgments.
• Evaluate and resolve conflicting methodologies, results, or interpretations submitted for AI training purposes.
• Review and refine scientific content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with best research practices.
• Provide detailed written and verbal feedback to enhance AI model understanding and outputs.
• Collaborate with an international team of experts to advance dataset quality.

Required profile

• PhD in physics or a senior PhD student with ongoing research and publications.
• 2–5 recent representative publications available via arXiv/DOI.
• Demonstrated expertise as a professor, industry research PI, or equivalent authority.
• High‑level scientific judgment for evaluating edge cases and resolving disagreements.
• Strong leadership experience in mentoring, reviewing, or directing research projects or labs.
