Senior Manager, SEO & GEO (Remote)

About the role

Parallels is seeking a Senior Manager, SEO & GEO to lead its search engine optimization and geolocation initiatives across Canada and globally. This full‑time remote position reports to senior leadership and drives both strategic planning and day‑to‑day execution of SEO programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO and GEO strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee SEO operations, ensuring efficient processes, system maintenance, and performance measurement.
• Lead, mentor, and grow high‑performing SEO teams, managing performance and professional development.
• Supervise SEO staff, assign tasks, monitor quality, and address performance issues.
• Design and execute geolocation strategies to expand market presence and improve geographic targeting.
• Analyze geographic markets, identify growth opportunities, and drive expansion initiatives.
• Optimize multi‑region SEO, ensuring consistency and high visibility across all target markets.
• Develop local SEO tactics to strengthen location‑specific search presence.

Required profile

• 13+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related fields, preferably within software/technology companies.
• Proven track record of leading large SEO teams and delivering measurable search visibility improvements.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate market analysis into actionable plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
