Senior Manager, Data Services

About the role

The Senior Manager, Data Services will lead the tactical and operational direction of CDIC’s technical data services. Reporting to the Director of Applications & Data Services, this role sits at the centre of the organization’s data and technology evolution, influencing how data supports Canada’s financial system.

Key responsibilities

• Define and advance the enterprise data services strategy, aligning with corporate priorities and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee the design, development and evolution of modern data platforms, including cloud‑based solutions and integration capabilities.
• Ensure secure, scalable, high‑quality data across the organization and drive data‑centric decision‑making.
• Collaborate with IT leadership, enterprise architecture and business partners to improve data access, management and analytics.
• Lead data governance initiatives and maintain compliance with relevant standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in enterprise data services, data architecture and platform delivery.
• Strong track record of building scalable and secure data environments in a regulated financial context.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
