Senior IT System & Network Administrator

About the role

DART Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior IT System & Network Administrator to maintain and evolve a critical IT infrastructure supporting fast‑paced aerospace manufacturing operations in Montreal.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise servers, networks, and virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Design, implement and manage LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routing and switching.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services.
• Manage cloud and hybrid environments on Azure, AWS or similar platforms.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices and data‑protection measures.
• Support automation initiatives using PowerShell scripting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical challenges.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of hands‑on system and network administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls and overall networking architecture.
• Proven experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Canadian citizenship and fluency in English.
