Senior IBM Maximo Consultant (Hybrid)

About the role

The City of Toronto is seeking a Senior IBM Maximo Consultant to lead functional, configuration and implementation activities for its Maximo Manage platform. This hybrid position combines on‑site collaboration with remote work, focusing on delivering a robust, end‑to‑end maintenance solution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement Maximo Manage modules covering facilities maintenance, asset and location management, service requests, work management, preventive maintenance, inspections and mobile execution.
• Lead data migration, integration design and build, including SAP and SAP BTP touchpoints.
• Conduct testing cycles (SIT/UAT), manage defect triage, and support cut‑over and go‑live activities.
• Stabilize the solution post‑implementation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on Maximo configuration experience (organization, site setup, Application Designer, database configuration, security groups).
• Successfully delivered at least three full‑cycle Maximo implementations as a consultant.
• Proven expertise in end‑to‑end Work Management configuration and deep knowledge of the Maximo data model.
• Experience with data migration and writing integration specifications for ERP systems.
• Strong background in driving SIT/UAT, defect resolution and go‑live support.
