About the role
The Hardware Asset Management (HAM) role at Mastercard is responsible for end‑to‑end lifecycle management of the company’s hardware assets. You will ensure accurate inventory, regulatory compliance, financial transparency and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
Key responsibilities
- Manage hardware assets from planning and acquisition through deployment, refresh and disposal.
- Partner with Procurement, Technology, Field Services, Finance, Security and regional operations to align purchase orders, vendor data and asset creation.
- Support deployments, break/fix activities, onboarding and large‑scale refresh programs.
- Act as escalation point for hardware asset issues impacting service delivery or compliance.
- Maintain and enhance HAM procedures, knowledge‑base articles and playbooks.
- Identify automation opportunities and drive process efficiencies across the asset lifecycle.
- Enforce adherence to Mastercard’s ITAM policies, audit readiness and regulatory expectations.
Required profile
- 8‑10 years of experience in Hardware or IT Asset Management within a large, global enterprise.
- Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle processes and asset discovery tools.
- Proven ability to manage data accuracy, compliance requirements and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Experience with procurement and IT asset lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting large‑scale refresh or deployment programs.
- Ability to drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and governance.
