Senior Full‑Stack Engineer – Analytics & Automation (Remote, Canada)

The role combines leadership, mentorship, and hands‑on design of scalable solutions, allowing you to build systems and create new product features while collaborating with a passionate, customer‑focused team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship product features end‑to‑end.
• Write clear, well‑defined design documentation.
• Mentor fellow engineers.
• Lead application architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software bugs.
• Implement back‑end APIs in Python and Node.js.
• Develop front‑end SPA components using React, Vue, and Ember.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Participate in an Agile software development life cycle.
• Write well‑designed, maintainable, and testable code.
• Think product‑mindfully and consider the customer.
• Work with Python, Django, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Ember, Docker, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.
• Contribute to open‑source projects.

Attributes of a Successful Candidate

• 8+ years of experience developing web‑based applications.
• Proven ability to guide high‑quality work across multiple developers.
• Experience with a web framework such as Django or Rails.
• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks (React, Vue, Ember, Angular, etc.).
• Experience writing REST/JSON APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Experience writing software tests.
• Ability to solve technical problems independently.
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Motivation to work hard and continuously learn.

Preferred Skills

• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Node.js with modern ES6 or TypeScript.
• React or Ember.js.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience building SaaS web applications.
