Senior Enterprise Content Management Functional Analyst

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Functional Analyst to lead the analysis and design of content management solutions for enterprise clients. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring ECM initiatives align with governance, compliance, and operational efficiency goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess business initiatives and project requests to determine impacts on ECM platforms, workflows, repositories, and integrations.
• Analyze requirements, process flows, and solution designs to identify changes needed for document generation, metadata, classification, search, retention, and security.
• Define and document functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery backlogs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, QA, and application teams to validate approaches and manage risks.
• Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder discussions; support testing, validation, and implementation activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or ECM Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ECM platforms such as IBM FileNet, CMOD, OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum, Exstream, or DocuSign.
• Knowledge of document lifecycle management, workflow automation, records management, and information governance.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and metadata structures.
• Experience creating functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
