Senior Director, Valuations

About the role

The Senior Director, Valuations will lead BCI’s valuation function across public and private market investments. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Finance and the CFO, this senior leader will operate in a technologically advanced, dynamic global investment environment, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for executive leadership, the Board, and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily price verification for Fixed Income and Public Equity securities.
• Manage quarterly and year‑end valuation processes for Private Equity, Infrastructure & Renewable Resources, and Private Credit portfolios.
• Resolve IFRS accounting and valuation issues across all asset classes.
• Prepare annual financial statements for BCI programs, pooled funds, and combined funds.
• Present valuation results to the Valuation Committee, Board of Directors, and related committees.
• Lead and develop a team of valuation professionals, fostering an innovative and collaborative approach.
• Act as a trusted advisor, building relationships with internal stakeholders and external asset‑class partners.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in investment valuations and finance leadership.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines in a complex, global environment.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with diverse asset‑class teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in IFRS accounting standards.
