Senior Director of Production – Battlefield Operations

About the role

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Director of Production to lead Battlefield Operations across its global shared teams. In this highly visible leadership position you will ensure that distributed production models deliver effectively while maintaining team health, clarity of ownership, and long‑term talent retention.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously evolve the cross‑site operating model for shared teams, defining accountability, decision rights and role clarity across locations.
• Establish end‑to‑end delivery accountability for Work Managers, aligning priorities, commitments and outcomes across sites.
• Partner with senior local leaders to safeguard team health, sustainability and long‑term engagement within distributed delivery structures.
• Set and model high standards for cross‑site leadership behavior, including clear written direction, explicit prioritisation and inclusive decision‑making.
• Identify and mitigate cost, complexity and risk inherent in cross‑site collaboration such as time‑zone friction and asynchronous workflows.
• Design and maintain an effective operating cadence between Work Managers and Local Leaders to surface risks early and enable timely escalation.
• Intervene decisively when delivery modes threaten quality, schedule or team wellbeing.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading high‑performing, distributed teams in a complex, multi‑location environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior leaders, delivery leads and operations partners.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement operating models that balance efficiency with team health.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide clear direction and transparent decision‑making.
