Senior Designer / Concept Artist (On‑Site)

About the role

As a Senior Designer/Senior Concept Artist you will define and elevate the visual identity of animated series, creating high‑quality character designs, environments and assets. Working closely with the Art Director you will help bring imaginative worlds to life while ensuring seamless integration with the narrative and production pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Art Director to realize the overall aesthetic vision for each project.
• Develop advanced, innovative designs that push the show’s aesthetic and narrative boundaries.
• Guide and inspire junior designers, fostering skill development and team excellence.
• Work with animation and art teams to ensure asset designs translate effectively to animation without losing visual appeal.
• Strategically design and illustrate environments that enhance the series’ visual style and atmosphere.
• Lead efforts to establish mood, tone, and atmosphere for different settings.
• Contribute high‑level ideas to strengthen visual storytelling.
• Present concepts, incorporate feedback, and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation or a related field.
• Professional experience as a Designer or Concept Artist in the animation industry.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage a demanding, complex daily schedule and adapt to rapid changes.
• Fluency in Photoshop and basic knowledge of Maya, Nuke, Premiere and various effects and surfacing tools.
• Clear understanding of the animation pipeline and production schedules.
