Senior Cyber Awareness Specialist

About the role

Join the Toronto Cyber Security Division as a Senior Cyber Awareness Specialist, supporting the CISO’s vision and strategy. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve cyber awareness and training programs for the City of Toronto and its agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive cyber awareness, training, and phishing plans.
• Provide senior‑level strategic advice on cyber awareness risks and mitigation.
• Identify, quantify, and address gaps in security awareness across the organization.
• Create, maintain, and analyze awareness metrics, producing clear reports and executive briefings.
• Automate recurring reports and visualise data through charts, scorecards, and summaries.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering cyber awareness and phishing campaigns at a senior level.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical data into business‑focused insights.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple divisions and agencies.
