Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build a petabyte‑scale, high‑performance observability platform. You will shape core services that power real‑time telemetry for developers, ensuring reliable data pipelines and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop key backend services and infrastructure for the observability platform.
• Design and implement high‑throughput data pipelines capable of ingesting, processing, and querying petabytes of logs, metrics, traces, and session replays.
• Collaborate with open‑source contributors and customers to incorporate feedback into API design and architecture.
• Maintain and improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of backend systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend development.
• Proven ability to ship features that have a tangible impact for customers.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for building developer tools and infrastructure.
