Lead Software Engineer – Full‑Stack & System Integration

About the role

Cogency Inc is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design, development and integration of complex computer‑based systems for its consulting clients. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on development in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development, installation, integration and operation of computer‑based systems.
• Define system functionality and develop process and network models to optimise architecture.
• Execute full‑lifecycle software development, including planning, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Lead and coordinate teams of information‑systems professionals on software, embedded control and process‑automation projects.
• Conduct usability, security and quality testing, document results and provide post‑sale client support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and system integration.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal communication skills.
