Senior Associate, Surgical Field Sales – Retina & Glaucoma (Ontario)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to drive sales of its Retina and Glaucoma surgical products across Ontario. You will work directly with eye‑care professionals, building strong relationships and ensuring product adoption to help patients see brilliantly.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for the Retina and Glaucoma surgical portfolios within the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell Alcon products through demonstrations, meetings, and events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retina and glaucoma surgeons, key opinion leaders, and high‑volume users.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and execute a strategic sales plan.
• Visit customers regularly, provide support, and conduct product training.
• Create and maintain a customer database and conduct competitive market analysis.
• Prepare timely reports and ensure accurate documentation of sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (B.Sc., B.Comm preferred).
• 3–5 years of pharmaceutical, medical, or surgical sales experience, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Clinical knowledge of retina and glaucoma treatments.
• Strong communication, presentation, and business‑acumen skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.
• Residency in Ontario or the Greater Toronto Area.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: experience in surgical ophthalmology sales or new‑technology launches.

What we offer

• Salary range $85,500 – $128,250 CAD annually.
