Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to manage assigned target customers and support Business Development Managers across North America for Consumer Electronics and Advanced Industrial Sensing markets. You will handle established accounts with under $100K annual revenue, generate new leads, and help design optimal product solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales targets and regularly review performance.
• Generate and qualify leads from trade shows, mailings, and campaigns using the CRM database.
• Provide product information, quote pricing, and follow up on opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to design total solutions and provide competitive insight.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports in Salesforce.com.
• Develop and sustain productive relationships with customers and channel partners.

Required profile

• BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a technical diploma with knowledge of optoelectronics.
• 3+ years of sales or inside‑sales experience.
• Positive attitude, reliable attendance, and strong verbal and written communication in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com for forecasting and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using CRM databases for lead management.
