Senior and Junior Associate Lawyer

About the role

Camenzuli Workplace Law PC is seeking both senior and junior associate lawyers to join its employment and workplace law practice in Vaughan, Ontario. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the opportunity to work directly with a diverse client base on matters ranging from employment standards to human rights and dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, correspondence, employment contracts and workplace policies.
• Conduct legal research on employment standards, human rights legislation, and related case law.
• Manage client files under appropriate supervision, gathering facts and providing status updates.
• Support senior lawyers in preparation for mediations, hearings, and negotiations.
• For senior associates: lead strategy development, mentor junior team members, handle complex files, and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, holding an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in employment, labor, or workplace law.
• Strong drafting ability with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time‑management and ability to prioritize multiple matters.
• For senior associate: several years of post‑call experience, proven advocacy, and leadership or mentoring experience.
• For junior associate: exposure to workplace or litigation matters through articling, clerkships, internships, or early practice.
