Senior Analytics Developer - Power BI

About the role

TTI Canada, a global leader in power tools, outdoor equipment and floorcare products, is hiring a Senior Analytics Developer for its Toronto headquarters. The role leads the design, development and optimization of analytics solutions and data models that support decision-making across TTI Canada, ensuring BI and analytics platforms are performant, scalable and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable Power BI datasets, dataflows and semantic models
• Lead data modeling and performance tuning, implement advanced DAX calculations and reusable measures
• Oversee governance, version control and deployment of BI assets, and develop automation and CI/CD for BI releases
• Collaborate with the Data Engineer on pipeline-to-report integration and with business stakeholders on technical solutions
• Build reusable templates and frameworks, document data models and dependencies, and manage permissions and security settings
• Mentor Analytics Developers and contribute to team skill development

Required profile

• Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada and able to travel to the United States
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in BI or analytics development, with strong Power BI expertise
• Experience leading end-to-end BI solution design and governance
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data integration, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks or Snowflake
• Experience with Git, DevOps and release pipelines
