Senior Accountant – SaaS Industry

About the role

This position is for an experienced Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The role supports the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities to deliver timely financial reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger and analyze variances across accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting in accordance with applicable standards.
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams on business initiatives.
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests.
• Evaluate and strengthen accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting guidance.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Experience working in the SaaS industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven expertise in month‑end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with revenue recognition in a SaaS environment.
