Senior Accountant, Private Enterprise & Tax

About the role

Davidson & Company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Tax & Private Enterprise practice in Vancouver. You will deliver high‑quality compilations, reviews, compliance and tax planning services while collaborating with managers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare compilations and reviews for privately held companies across diverse industries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare corporate tax returns and manage closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Guide junior staff, develop engagement work plans with budgets and schedules, and monitor project status.
• Build professional relationships with clients by delivering superior service and high‑quality work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and CPA designation (or CFE completion with progress toward designation).
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ASPE, CAS and Canadian legislation.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and interpreting complex financial statements.
• Familiarity with Caseware software.
