Security Guard – Full‑time, Calgary

About the role

BRAVO SECURITY SERVICES LTD. is seeking a reliable Security Guard to join its team in Calgary. This permanent, full‑time position involves protecting people and property across a variety of sites, from retail stores to construction zones.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises in all weather conditions.
• Recommend and help implement appropriate security systems.
• Produce detailed incident and evidence reports.
• Prevent and detect shoplifting, theft, and other security breaches.
• Respond to emergencies and perform basic first‑aid when required.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in mobile surveillance, stakeouts, or retail loss prevention.
• Valid Security Guard License, CPR, First Aid and WHMIS certificates.
• Clean criminal record check.
• Own reliable vehicle and ability to work flexible shifts (early morning, evening, night).

Required skills

• Ability to produce clear written reports.
• Strong observational and judgement skills.
• Effective oral communication in English.
