Secondary Teacher Positions – Various Schools (Sept 2026)

About the role

The Lambton Kent District School Board is hiring qualified secondary teachers for a range of subjects across multiple schools, starting September 2026. All positions are permanent and include a virtual learning component to support blended instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum in assigned subject areas.
• Integrate virtual learning tools and electronic report‑card systems into daily instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues on literacy, MDT, and safe‑school initiatives.
• Participate in school committees, professional development, and inclusive education practices.
• Maintain consistent and fair classroom management while supporting diverse student needs.

Required profile

• Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification in the relevant division and subject.
• Relevant teaching experience preferred; special‑education qualifications required for specific roles.
• French fluency for French‑immersion positions; Guidance, Co‑Op, or Special Education Part 1 as required.
• Ability to work with Indigenous youth and students from varied backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff.

Required skills

• Knowledge of current Ontario curriculum directions.
• Proficiency with computers and virtual learning platforms.
• Experience using electronic report‑card systems.
