School Bus Driver – Part‑Time (Kingston)

About the role

Voyago is hiring part‑time school bus drivers for the 2026/2027 school year in Kingston and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school each day, becoming a trusted presence in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a school bus on assigned routes, ensuring punctual pick‑up and drop‑off.
• Prioritize student safety during boarding, transit, and exiting.
• Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain bus cleanliness, assist with fueling and basic upkeep.
• Complete daily Hours of Service reports and required documentation.
• Address student behaviour issues following company procedures.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 21 with a clean driving record.
• Valid full G class driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain B/E licence with company training).
• Ability to pass a vulnerable sector criminal background check.
• Strong knowledge of Kingston and surrounding routes.
• Reliable, independent worker available for shifts Monday‑Friday (approx. 6:00 am‑9:15 am and 1:00 pm‑4:30 pm).
• Good communication skills and comfort working with children.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Navigation using Google Maps or GPS units.
