Sample Reception Technician & Delivery Driver

About the role

The role involves receiving client samples, entering them into the MaxxLims system on the same day, and handling delivery tasks. You will work closely with the customer service team to ensure timely processing and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Enter all samples into MaxxLims according to SOPs as quickly as possible.
• Prioritise samples based on holding times (24h, 48h, 72h) and regular turnaround.
• Communicate any document abnormalities to project managers or clients.
• Send confirmation to clients after entry and forward subcontracted tests to designated labs.
• Occasionally greet clients at reception and assist with front‑office tasks.
• Maintain quality assurance policies and contribute to process optimisation.

Required profile

• Reliable, responsible and motivated individual able to set priorities and work in a team.
• Energetic personality capable of handling stress and tight guidelines.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Experience with MaxxLims or similar laboratory information management system.
• Very good computer skills.
• DES or equivalent proficiency.
