Sales Coordinator – Tour & Travel Segment

About the role

The Sales Coordinator – Tour & Travel Segment will support the Sales Department of the Nouvel Hotel in downtown Montreal. Reporting to the Sales Director and General Manager, you will be responsible for driving group business from tour operators and travel agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell hotel rooms, meeting spaces and ancillary services to the tours and travel market.
• Enter group reservations (amenity and convention groups) into the property management system.
• Prepare draft group contracts, rate sheets, arrival lists, meal plans and baggage handling instructions.
• Generate weekly arrival lists and ensure all relevant departments receive accurate information.
• Maintain up‑to‑date rate and contract files for each market segment and promotional offer.
• Monitor inventory of promotional materials and stationery for the sales team.
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager and Sales & Marketing Director.
• Follow up with clients, resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.

Required profile

• Bilingual in French and English to serve an international clientele.
• Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) required; a Baccalaureate is an asset.
• Strong communication, negotiation and public‑relations abilities.
• Professional demeanor, quick judgment and a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Opera property management system (PMS) – considered an asset.
