Sales Assistant

About the role

As a Sales Assistant at COBS Bread you will be the face of our bakery, welcoming customers and ensuring they enjoy a fresh, friendly experience. No prior experience is required – we provide training so you can learn the basics of bakery operations and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personable service to regular and new customers.
• Handle cash, credit card and debit transactions accurately.
• Merchandise baked goods and support marketing promotions.
• Maintain a clean and safe bakery environment.
• Assist with basic baking tasks and product preparation as needed.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and eager to learn.
• Team player who enjoys working with people.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 22 kg and perform repetitive tasks.
