Safety Systems Coordinator

About the role

The Safety Systems Coordinator supports the administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of Spark Power’s HSE programs across North America, reporting to the Senior Director of Health, Safety and Environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contractor pre‑qualification platforms (ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks) and maintain company profiles, insurance certificates, safety statistics and training records.
• Monitor expiries, deficiencies and renewals, coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders, and support regulatory audits and HSE program updates.
• Support environmental and chemical management, including SDS reviews, approvals and inventory reporting.
• Maintain incident, claim and performance records, prepare KPI reports and assist with onboarding and meeting minutes.

Required profile

• Related HSE degree, diploma or certification; NHSA preferred.
• 3–5 years of construction, electrical or site‑based HSE administrative experience.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations, COR audit requirements, JHAs, SWPs and contractor pre‑qualification platforms.

Required skills

• Experience with ISNetworld, Avetta or ComplyWorks platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
