Safety Coordinator

About the role

Hall Constructors is seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team in Langley. You will act as the primary safety resource on construction sites, supporting field crews and supervisors to ensure a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support field operations with daily safety activities and documentation.
• Train, coach and mentor staff on Hall’s safety policies and procedures.
• Participate actively in the Health and Safety Management System and promote safety leadership.
• Assist with safety audits, documentation, and compliance reporting.
• Conduct site inspections and hazard assessments to verify compliance.
• Assist in injury management and incident investigations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a safety‑related role.
• High school diploma; NCSO designation preferred but not required.
• Strong ethical standards, detail‑orientation, and teamwork skills.
• Effective communication, problem‑solving and public‑speaking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient with SiteDocs software.
• Ability to conduct hazard identification and control assessments.
• Experience performing workplace inspections and incident investigations.
• Competence in documentation implementation and auditing.
• Capability to interpret Acts, Regulations, Codes and Standards.
