About the role
The Rope Access Technician (RAT) works at heights on a variety of property service projects in Vancouver. The role involves physically demanding tasks outdoors in all weather conditions, requiring strict adherence to safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and installations at elevated work sites using rope access techniques.
- Ensure compliance with IRATA safety procedures and company safety policies.
- Work independently while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Adapt to early‑morning and daytime schedules and stand for extended periods as required.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- IRATA certification (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association).
- Physically demanding work capability, ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in all weather.
- Values, ethics, and a positive attitude.
