Roofer – Installation & Repair (Surrey, BC)

About the role

Overseas Roofing Ltd. is looking for a skilled roofer to join its team in Surrey, BC. The successful candidate will perform installation, repair and maintenance of various roofing systems on sloped roofs.

Key responsibilities

• Install and replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes and masonry or clay roofing tiles.
• Install single‑ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair or replace damaged shingles, shakes and single‑ply roofing systems.
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of roofing experience.
• Criminal record check.
• Ability to bend, crouch, kneel and handle heavy loads.
• Client‑focused, dependable and reliable.

Required skills

• Installation of asphalt and wood shingles.
• Installation of single‑ply roofing systems.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Use of hand and power tools for metal roof work.
