About the role
The Merritt Liquor Store is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to lead its front‑line team. You will oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise staff, including apprentices, volunteers and office personnel.
- Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules.
- Authorize merchandise returns and resolve customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Organise and maintain inventory, ensuring stock availability.
- Establish work schedules and coordinate daily activities of staff.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, merchandising and personnel.
- Address supply shortages and ensure timely replenishment.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff alongside retail employees.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience supervising retail staff.
- Client‑focused attitude and ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
