About the role
The Retail Shelf Stocker ensures that store shelves and display areas are fully stocked, organized, and ready for customers. Working at Canadian Tire in Prince Albert, you will handle product receipt, inventory management, and provide friendly assistance on the shop floor.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and unpack merchandise, count, weigh, and sort items.
- Record incoming stock and maintain computerized inventory.
- Stock shelves and display areas, ensuring items are correctly priced and protected.
- Keep the stockroom and sales floor clean and orderly.
- Assist customers by locating products and handling purchases at the cash register.
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of retail or stockroom experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent oral communication.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
