Retail Merchandiser

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Merchandiser to join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store. You will ensure that product displays are attractive, organized and ready for customers while supporting receiving and inventory processes.

Key responsibilities

• Organise back‑room inventory following Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) procedures.
• Use PDT and MMS systems to perform daily merchandising tasks, manage exit strategies and product returns.
• Maintain product placement, monitor expiry dates and keep store standards aligned with current trends.
• Receive merchandise, complete required documentation and keep the back‑room tidy.
• Provide friendly customer service, adhere to uniform policy and assist shoppers on the floor.
• Follow health and safety, loss‑prevention and store standard policies and perform any additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Efficient, organised and detail‑oriented with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Accurate cash handling when required.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and maintain a clean professional image.
