Retail Merchandiser – Health & Beauty Store

About the role

Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store as a Merchandiser, supporting health, beauty and convenience services for the community. You will keep the customer at the centre of every task while maintaining a well‑organized backroom and attractive store displays.

Key responsibilities

• Organise backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes.
• Use PDT and MMS systems to perform daily merchandising tasks, manage exit strategy and product returns.
• Maintain product placement, monitor expiry dates and ensure displays are consumer‑focused and “shoppable”.
• Receive merchandise according to store policies, keep the backroom neat, and complete required documentation.
• Support the Front Store Manager in up‑holding store quality and standards.
• Provide courteous customer service, adhere to uniform policy and assist shoppers on the floor.
• Comply with health and safety, loss‑prevention policies and all store standards.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Efficient, organised and detail‑oriented with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Accurate cash handling when applicable.
• Ability to work independently, self‑motivated and able to lift up to 50 lb and climb ladders.
• Flexible availability for nights and weekends.
