Retail Coordinator

About the role

The Retail Coordinator supports Food & Beverage and Sport Shop operations across Canlan Sports facilities, reporting to the Director of Retail. This national support role ensures consistent inventory, pricing, and service standards while driving sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support restaurant, Food & Beverage, and Sport Shop operations, maintaining approved pricing, inventory standards and par levels.
• Monitor inventory, manage purchasing orders, and assist with menu design, promotions and customer engagement initiatives.
• Develop SOPs, train managers on Shift4 POS and Yellow Dog systems, and provide ongoing operational support.
• Enter and maintain SKU data, act as Yellow Dog project lead, and troubleshoot POS issues.

Required profile

• Previous restaurant experience (mandatory) with knowledge of food & beverage operations, inventory management and purchasing.
• One to two years of experience in retail, restaurant or Food & Beverage operations, preferably within a regional or national franchise.
• College, trade school or university education in Hospitality, Restaurant or Retail Management is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with Shift4 POS and Yellow Dog (or similar) inventory management systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, stock purchasing and POS troubleshooting.
