Restaurant Manager – Operations & Staff

About the role

King Tandoori Drew is looking for a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and ensure an exceptional guest experience at our Mississauga location. You will oversee budgeting, staff management, and service standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies.
• Monitor revenues, labour costs, and cash flow; prepare balance sheets and cash reports.
• Evaluate daily operations and adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing to meet budget targets.
• Recruit, schedule, supervise, and train staff while conducting performance reviews.
• Implement operational procedures, enforce liquor legislation, and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Organise and maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and manage catering contracts.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and address customer complaints to maintain high service standards.
• Plan and manage events, balancing client needs with operational capabilities.

Required profile

• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in restaurant operations.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Dependable, flexible, organized, and a reliable team player.
• Basic security clearance and own transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods.
