Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Turkish Kebab House in Kanata. The role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring a high‑quality dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies to maintain profitability.
• Monitor daily operations, adjust menu pricing, and modify food preparation methods based on budget constraints.
• Plan and organize daily operations and staff schedules.
• Supervise, train, and schedule staff while conducting performance reviews.
• Balance cash, prepare balance sheets, and complete cash reports.
• Maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and handle catering or facility use agreements.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers and clients for catering.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and bondable requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and control costs.
