Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at Himalayan Spice and Grill Ltd. in Edmonton. The role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring an excellent guest experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze budgets and implement strategies to boost and maintain restaurant profitability.
• Plan, organize, and evaluate daily operations, including inventory management.
• Supervise a team of 1‑2 staff members, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
• Address customer complaints and deliver high‑quality service.
• Coordinate and manage special events and promotions.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations.
• Maintain health and safety standards throughout the restaurant.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping and reporting of financial and operational data.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant restaurant management experience.
• Organized, detail‑oriented team player.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle shift work.
• Public transportation is available for commuting.
• Experience with shift scheduling and staff supervision.
