About the role

The Wells Gray Inn Restaurant & Bar is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This full‑time, permanent position requires a proactive leader who can balance budgeting, staff management, and customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets for food, beverage, supplies, and labour costs.
• Monitor revenues, adjust menu pricing, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Plan, organize, and oversee daily restaurant operations.
• Create staff schedules, train employees, and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure health‑safety compliance.
• Handle customer complaints, provide high‑level service, and support marketing initiatives.
• Balance cash, prepare financial reports, and manage balance sheets.
• Evaluate and modify food preparation methods to align with budgetary goals.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of restaurant management experience.
• Accurate, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, organized, and a team player.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Client‑focused with a dependable work ethic.
