About the role
The Corner Nook Cafe is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, drive profitability, and lead a team of 5‑10 staff members.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze budgets and monitor revenues to control labour costs and boost profits.
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and address customer complaints.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management.
- Experience supervising a team of 5‑10 employees.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Experience using electronic cash registers.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
