Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our Subway location in Mattawa, ON. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing staff to meet performance and financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate daily operations and adjust food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
• Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and plan daily operations.
• Recruit, schedule, supervise, and conduct performance reviews for 5‑10 staff members.
• Organise and maintain inventory while ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
• Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies and with clients for catering or facility use.
• Address customer complaints, provide service, and manage events.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education.
• 1–2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Client‑focused, dependable, organized and able to multitask.
• Comfortable working in a rural area with a budgetary responsibility of $500,001‑$1,500,000.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using MS Outlook.
• Familiarity with MS Windows.
• Knowledge of MS Word.
