About the role

Boston Pizza in Emerald Park is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences and drive profitability. The role combines hands‑on management with strategic planning in a fast‑paced dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Determine service offerings and implement operational procedures.
• Balance cash, prepare balance sheets and cash reports.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage staff scheduling.
• Control costs of products and services.
• Enforce provincial liquor legislation and health‑safety regulations.
• Organise inventory, conduct regular stock counts and negotiate with suppliers.
• Negotiate with clients for catering or facility use.
• Monitor labour costs and schedule staff efficiently.
• Develop and implement training programs for team members.
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
• Address customer complaints and provide outstanding service.
• Plan, direct, control and evaluate daily restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Reliability and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, nights, days and weekends.
• Ability to conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong organisational skills for inventory and scheduling.
• Commitment to uphold liquor legislation and safety standards.
