Restaurant Manager – Full‑time Permanent Role

About the role

The Oven Fresh is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at its Scarborough location. This full‑time, permanent position involves overseeing staff, budgeting, inventory, and ensuring a high‑quality dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the restaurant budget, including food, beverage, and supply costs.
• Monitor daily operations, adjust menu pricing and food preparation methods as needed.
• Recruit, schedule, train, and supervise a team of 11‑15 staff members.
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee performance issues.
• Maintain inventory levels and negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food‑handling regulations.
• Handle customer complaints, provide excellent service, and manage special events.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and catering negotiations.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management.
• Fluency in English; additional languages Hindi and Malayalam are assets.
• Valid Safe Food Handling and Food Safety certificates.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under pressure.
